Kuma-Kuma Chan visits a South Sea isle where he lies in the sun and drifts into a lazy snooze. He climbs to the summit of a mountain and views the sunrise while drinking a cup of fresh coffee. He flies in the sky and gets a bird’s-eye view of the ground below.

Instead of physically setting out for one place or another, Kuma-Kuma Chan travels freely all over the world—in his mind. He thinks about, dreams about, and writes about great adventures—even ones in which he’s a tiger or he goes back in time—without leaving the comfort of his little house in the mountains.
